Angelica Maria Vale Hartman, known professionally as Angelica Vale, is a Mexican-American singer, actress, comedian and radio personality known also for her role as the mother of Angelica Maria La Novia de Mexico and the mother of comic Raul Vale. Angelica Maria is the woman who created her own La Balada Ranchera genre in 1973. It dominated the American charts, and she became the Latin first performer to achieve two million sales. Raul is a native of Venezuela, comedian and performer who came to Mexico City in 1954, was her husband in the month of April, 1975. Angelica Vale was baptized on November 11, 1995, in Mexico City. She is an actress and writer. She has been an actress and a writer in the films La fea mas bella (2007) as well as El Hogar que Yo Robe (1981).
